New Technology Equipment of Security:

Most people consider their Security‬ system as a long term investment. With the new technology that has become available, security systems are much more than home alarms.
A turnstile, also called a baffle gate or turn style, is a form of gate which allows one person to pass at a time. It can also be made so as to enforce one-way traffic of people, and in addition, it can restrict passage only to people who insert a coin, a ticket, a pass, or similar. Thus a turnstile can be used in the case of paid access (sometimes called a fare gate or ticket barrier when used for this purpose), for example to access public transport, a pay toilet, or to restrict access to authorized people, for example in the lobby of an office building.
Turnstiles are used at a wide variety of settings, including stadiums, amusement parks, mass transit stations, office lobbies, airports, ski resorts, and casinos.
From a business/revenue standpoint, turnstiles give an accurate, verifiable count of attendance. From a security standpoint, they lead patrons to enter single-file, so security personnel have a clear view of each patron. This enables security to efficiently isolate potential trouble or to confiscate any prohibited materials. On the other hand, physical barriers become a serious safety issue when a speedy evacuation is needed, requiring emergency exits that bypass any Turnstiles‬.

Security officers

Security officers provide monitoring services for property owners to provide a safe environment and prevent violence. A security officer plays many different roles, but his primary task is to prevent crime. The presence of a security officer on the premises often serves as a deterrent to potential lawbreakers. Security guards work in public and private buildings, as well as retail and wholesale establishments. Some work at transportation facilities guarding against potential terrorist attacks.

As security officers perform their job, they often patrol both the interior and exterior of the premises where they work. They monitor windows, doors and gates to make sure they're locked properly. If an alarm sounds or there's a disturbance, the security officer is the first on the scene, and is often the one making the call to emergency police, fire or ambulance services. Security officers might have the responsibility of taking phone calls that come into the business after hours. Some have the task of monitoring the heating and cooling systems of the buildings they guard. Security officers prepare daily activity logs and reports of any damage to equipment to present to their supervisor.

From Failure to Success :

Setbacks in any career are inevitable, and yet some people manage to succeed despite the worst of setbacks. Their secret is that they know the difference between a setback and failure.
The two aren't the same. A setback has to leave scars before it starts to become a failure. There are ways to protect yourself from being scarred. Some of these can be applied in advance, the way you'd apply prevention before you get sick. Others can be applied after a setback has occurred. But in both cases, anyone can learn the skills that are needed.
In advance:
1- View yourself as a success, no matter what is happening.
2- Know your personal weaknesses and deal with them.
3- Address the influence of fear and anxiety.
4- Stay immersed in the details of your work.
5- Have a supportive family.
6- Participate in a supportive team atmosphere.
7- Identify with interests outside your work.
8- Develop core values.
9- Learn how to be cantered.

Security Arrangements at Holy Temples

PLN9 Security Services
Tightening the measures to protect idols in temples under its purview, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has warned lower level officials at the temples that they would be held responsible if any idol was stolen. Further, the compensation for the loss would be recovered from them.
In a circular issued in this regard, the department elaborated the security measures for protecting temple assets including idols, jewellery and other articles that have antique value.
Though several security measures were in place, there is increased apprehension that thefts take place because of the lack of attention on the part of subordinate employees in the temples.
Already IP cameras that would capture images even in the dark have been installed in a few hundred temples and works are on to install them in other temples too. The top officials in the temples should ensure whether the warning systems in the premises including the alarm are working well.
The tri-lock system should be followed where priceless idols and other materials are kept. “One key should be with the archaya, second one with the temple employee and the third with the Executive Security Officer of the temple. All doors should be locked properly and it should be recorded in the appropriate register.”
To ensure that night duty watchmen are alert, Tell Tale clocks should be used. Frequent meetings with the police department should be organised to strengthen the security measures in the temple. In important temples, night patrolling should be conducted not only in outer premises but also in inner premises . Apart from these, assistance from the social service organisations could also be sought for protecting temple assets.
Security‬ alarms should be installed in all temples on a war footing.‪ SecurityGuards‬ should be appointed on outsourcing basis and patrolling should be done on rotation basis, night and day.

Active Fire Protection device

A fire extinguisher, or extinguisher, is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergency situations. It is not intended for use on an out-of-control fire, such as one which has reached the ceiling, endangers the user (i.e., no escape route, smoke, explosion hazard, etc.), or otherwise requires the expertise of a fire department. Typically, a fire extinguisher consists of a hand-held cylindrical pressure vessel containing an agent which can be discharged to extinguish a fire. Fire extinguishers manufactured with non-cylindrical pressure vessels also exist, but are less common.

There are two main types of fire extinguishers: stored-pressure and cartridge-operated. In stored pressure units, the expellant is stored in the same chamber as the fire fighting agent itself. Depending on the agent used, different propellants are used. With dry chemical extinguishers, nitrogen is typically used; water and foam extinguishers typically use air. Stored pressure fire extinguishers are the most common type. Cartridge-operated extinguishers contain the expellant gas in a separate cartridge that is punctured prior to discharge, exposing the propellant to the extinguishing agent. This type is not as common, used primarily in areas such as industrial facilities, where they receive higher-than-average use. They have the advantage of simple and prompt recharge, allowing an operator to discharge the extinguisher, recharge it, and return to the fire in a reasonable amount of time.

Effective Business Communication

Effective business communication skills are vital to successful co-worker and customer interactions. Both the speaker and the listener share responsibility of making the message clear, but effective communication goes far beyond simple speech and hearing. Body language, tone of voice, word choice, message clarification and communication style all come into play, and can make the difference between success and failure in interpersonal transactions and interactions.
1 Effective Speaking
2- Active Listening
3- Asking Questions
4- Body Language
5- Communication Methods
Learning to be eloquent with all forms of communication methods may not be the easiest task, but the effective communicator knows her limitations and chooses the medium to match the message.
